BEFORE THE FALL!!!

Before the fall, was Adam naked? .... Yes

But did God relate with him based on his nakedness? No

Now, after the fall, was Adam still naked? Yes

Was God shocked that He was naked? No

If you read Gen 3, you will notice that God's shock was "how Adam knew he was naked" hence the question, "Who told you?" Gen 3:11. Not that he was "naked"!

We can safely conclude that the tree awakened his conscience. Which became man's absolute undoing which the Law kept on reviving ...because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins Heb 10:2

The tree changed
Adams focus from beholding the Lord 2Cor 3:18 to beholding himself. Rom 7:18 while sin used his conscience to torment him.

Remember this verse in John 3

14  And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

15  That whosoever BELIEVETH in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Shall we quickly take a look at what happened in the wilderness

Num 21:8  And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he LOOKETH upon it, SHALL LIVE

Imagine someone was bitten and he chose to focus on the bite, because the pain was unbearable, or because he felt he was paying for a sin he committed, or started confession rather than on the serpent that hung on the pole, will he live? Your guess was as good as mine.

At the cross, CHRIST was made a serpent, numbered among the kingpin of sinners, He gave us His righteousness and He literally became sin so that when God looks at us He sees RIGHTEOUSNESS

This is why there is NOW no condemnation for us who are in Christ, who do not reckon themselves in the flesh but in the Spirit Rom 8:1, 9

This is why no one can lay a charge against us or condemn us Rom 8:33

Adam's view of himself Gen 3:10 broke down his relationship with Elohim.

No wonder Paul prayed that he may see himself as Christ saw him Phil 3:12

Remember the lost son? His journey back home was triggered by him focusing on the goodness of His Father; Luke 15, not his present reckoning of himself at the time.

Was the Father awaiting a confession? No! Rather He sprinted on sighting the boy from afar.

Did His Father see a slave or a son? Of course a son!

But praise God in Christ we are once again restored to that position as a New Creation, 2Cor 5:17 just like Adam was before the fall. Glorified as Christ! John 17:22, partakers of His divine nature 2 Pet 1:3, seated together with Christ in heavenly places Eph 2:6.

Naked but not Ashamed! Gen 2:25

Except one pays attention to the wrong Gospel, one will keep seeing oneself in ones sin and the constant need for confession and a long agonizing wait for forgiveness.

I make bold to say that ANY GOSPEL THAT EMPATHIZES A BELIEVERS SINS OR WORKS RATHER THAN THE GRACE WE RECIEVED IN CHRIST AND HIS FINISHED WORK IS ABOMINABLE.

Little wonder Bro Paul placed a curse on such Gal 1:8

THE Scriptures tell us in 1Cor 15:17  And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

We are not in sin anymore! except we see ourselves so!

So if you claim to be in sin, Gods question to you will be "who told you?"

We know what happened to the creature that told that lie

Is this a licence to sin? You be the judge of that.

Be blessed
