Discovering your potential
The sense of judgment of every being is based on the depth of their understanding and knowledge. In every human exists great potentials that are necessary for discovery. When people find it hard to discover it, they limit themselves to whatever their hand rests upon. God has deposited treasures of potentials in everyone, not utilizing it will be a waste of investment. To utilize your potentials fully, carefully read through this and follow sternly.
Look Inward- settle in, grab a pen and have a meeting with yourself. Ask yourselve questions about your interests, passion and activities of comfort. Once you are able to point this out, star working on it before an audience and you will be appreciated. An example is a friend of mine who
never gave up on playing the drums since his childhood days. Despite the criticism he received from his parent and outsiders, he continued to encourage himself. Now, he is a professional drummer who is called upon to play the drums at various events.
There maybe many people doing what have discovered as your potential, don't let that discourage you. When God deposits something in people He adds a peculiarity to the potential. There is a new thing that should come from every person. You may have the same skill but different audiences, different drive and purpose. This difference seperates you and brings you into lime light.
Take actions about your discovery - A vision or potential not acted upon is equal to having none. Work on your potentials because it defines your life's mission. Sometimes, financial situations can pose as an handicap to potentials fulfilment, don't be discouraged, start with the little that you have and grow it into something big.
When you taken action towards your potential, heaven smiles at you because you are on course to your greater height. However, the only barrier to taking action is yourself.
Flee from people's comments about your potential - people's comment whether positive or negative goes a long way in one's life but it's up to you to determine if such comments will make or Mar your God-given potentials. You are the only one that can see what you saw about your potentials. When people pass negative comments, keep your eyes fixed on what God told you about your potentials. When people pass negative comments it is either they feel threatened about your potential success in it or they don't have any understanding about what you are doing.
The children of Israel were to fight the people of Canaan, spies were sent to inquire about the strength of the land, reports came in that the people of Canaan were strong and undefeatable but only Joshua and Caleb shut off the reports, saying that they will defeat them. They didn't permit negative reports to prevent them from claiming their victory..in the same way, don't allow negative reports limit your life...
