When the friend request was sent to Mercy the younger sister of Grace. Mercy told Matthew that he wasn't interested in such a relationship.
"Beautiful Mercy, pls I want you to be my friend, just friend not for any other thing. I will take care of you and get you whatsoever you wish to have" Matthew spoke to Mercy
"You mean you will take care of me?" Mercy asked Matthew
"Yes I will take care of you" Matthew replied
"Does it mean that the way you're looking at me my parent are not taking good care of me?" Mercy asked Matthew
"No ooo, I mean I will do more better than your parent" Matthew replied her
She laughed.... Hahaha... And said to him "Anyway,I will think about it and give you reply later'' she left immediately.
As she got home, she met her elder sister Grace and explained everything that happened between her and Matthew and how he was begging her to be his friend. Then grace the elder sister paused and said to Mercy her younger sister "Mercy, don't you ever, I mean ever in your life heed to his request. Don't dream of it, don't think of it, don't even imagine it in your heart to accept his foolish request. Remember that mummy's plan is that we will keep our virginity and be pure till marriage if Christ tarrys. Therefore reject him and run away from him, in fact you can go ahead and report him to daddy and mummy so that they will handle this issus. Don't just handle it with a light hand"
Mercy replied her "Thanks love, I will surely do all that you've spoken. I will make sure that I don't give out my dignity for pleasurable life"
"Remember, that our father is the founder of this church and we the daughter don't need to disappoint him and also disappoint God. Let's maintain the standard of holiness and purity, for purity pays" Grace added.
"Okey dearest, I will take an action now!!!"
The next day Matthew called Mercy to hear her reply about what they talked about 2days ago.
"Hello, dear Mercy how are you doing today?" Matthew said
"Eeehn, I didn't hear you very well. What do you just said now?" Mercy asked
"I was just greeting you naw, is there anything wrong in calling you 'my dear'?" Matthew replied
"Who is your dear here? Are you out of your senses at all? And for your information, I don't want to be your friend, Jesus alone is enough for me. Jesus alone will take care of me and supply all my needs, so don't call this line again, goodbye" Mercy said and hanged the call
Matthew was disappointed that all his efforts to get the beautiful Mercy was abortive.
Then, Mercy repented and asked God for Mercy, the way she spoke to Mathew all the wrong words that he has spoken out her mouth.
Grace the eldest sister of Mercy joined her hands together with Mercy, and they prayed for Grace to remain pure, never to disappoint their parent.
