MIND TRANSFORMATION

Over the years, in the world today, many changes have occurred; ranging from technology, science, art, business among others. This trend has subtly but swiftly shifted the heart of men away from their creator. Many people have neglected the haunt for that which is everlasting for that which is but for a while because of the wild chase after and desire for the things of the world. Man would rather focus on the things that
were and will continue to be after his existence instead of focusing on the God that made them. The bible made us to understand that "Man was created from dust, and unto dust shall man return". The chaotic situation the world is today is a product of man's choice to be sold out to pleasure rather than savour the presence of God.
As good and useful as most innovations can be, many youths today have converted and directed its usefulness into negative vices in the society. Nudity and sexual perversion has become the order of the day. On a fateful day, I stumbled on a post on my Facebook timeline that was disheartening, I saw a young lady with great potentials post a semi nude picture of herself in a bid to celebrate her birthday, that was uncalled for!
Virtually all you see on the social media nowadays is about sex, infact sex is now the major driver of any popular conversation, an evidence is the huge number of comments on sex related posts. Africans are trying to emulate the Europeans but they have failed in their quest to emulate what's right and shun the wrong. In a country like ours, anything and everything is now acceptable, we have no sense of definition and purpose. The land is sick and needs to be healed, the land is defiled and needs to be cleansed, the mind and hearts needs reorientation which can only be done by Jesus. Jesus Chrst, while on earth, was a perfect model of how we should live our lives. The Bible says, "for he was without sin", it's possible to live a life without sin. It starts with the transformation of the heart. The heart is a powerful organ in the human body, that's why the Bible says "Guide your heart with all diligence, for out of it flows the issues of life" . This is simply telling us that out of our heart comes realities which takes place in the life of man, and when you allow Jesus into that heart of yours, you'll be like him. You are a product of your heart, "as a man thinketh, so he is", says the Bible. It's not a bad idea to think Jesus in your heart because in him we are made whole........I am Ogunleye Victor David, and I stand with Jesus.
